Charlotte Lilly George is an artist, illustrator, and designer based in Northampton, UK.
Charlotte specialises in storytelling, focused on women and queer individuals, using a combination of traditional and digital techniques and Art Nouveau like compositions.
She has worked on a wide range of projects – editorial, game art, comics, and advertising. She is a diverse practitioner who enjoys finding new and interesting ways to tell stories. Being commissioned by the Arts University Bournemouth Student Union, she was able to create digital media and physical posters to advertise Women’s History Month.
To the Moon and Back, a short wordless narrative, was shortlisted for the Creative Conscience Award 2023 for its exploration into the experiences of queer individuals.
She has also been featured in the official award-winning student magazine BUMF for her illustration which explored the theme of rhythm within the context of anxiety disorder.
Featured in CV&L by Delos Publishing for her work on a collection of illustrations relating to queer identities and their connection to flowers.
